Grameen America Reaches Several Milestones in Newark

We’re proud to announce we have reached several milestones at our newest Grameen America branch in Newark, NJ. Opened in November 2016, Newark marks our 19th branch location nation-wide. Since opening nearly six months ago, the branch has invested over $100,900 in microloans to 100 women entrepreneurs. They have set aside almost $3,000 collectively in their new savings accounts opened with the support of Grameen America. We look forward to continuing our growth and investment in the Newark community.
