Area Director, California

As California Area Director, Mr. Alam supervises all current and future branches in the California. Currently, GAI has six branches in the state: three in Los Angeles, as well as one in Oakland, San Jose, and Fresno. He also provides strong hands-on leadership of our Boyle Heights, Los Angeles branch. California is now GAI's second largest area and a key priority, and we look forward to our continued expansion in this state. Mr. Alam joined GAI in 2007; previously, he spent more than 16 years in various positions of increasing responsibility at the Grameen Bank in Bangladesh.
