Meet Teresa

Teresa sells a variety of sliced fruit and vegetables out a food cart in Oakland. She is particularly known for her Mexican specialties: Spiced fruit and corn pudding. With her next loan, Teresa would like to purchase a light to operate her cart in the evening. With two more hours of operating in the morning and evening, Teresa will be one step closer to fulfilling her dream: to purchase a second food cart to operate in Alameda. With second cart and newly hired employee, she can build the savings she needs to put her son through college.
